He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Brown and Irene Brown; his brother Gord (late Judy); and his parents-in-law, Tom and Jean Carr.

He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Kimberly Kelly (Mike) and Kevin Brown (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler Kelly and Abby Brown; his brothers, Ken (Bonnie) and Murray (late Elaine); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Carr (late Keith), Marion Spicer, Barb Carr (late Bob), Judy and Peter Milne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and nephews.
