She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Fred; her parents, Daniel McLay and Georgina McLay (Tronstad); her daughters, Linda, Doreen (Kevin Dunseath) and Sandra (Joe Matheson); and her grandchildren, Emily and Paul Matheson.

COVID restrictions limit the funeral to a private family service, to be held on May 27, 2021.
