As George Nectarios departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George Nectarios. Though George Nectarios may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stilianos Stratakos and Soula Stratakos; his brother Peter (Effie); and his nieces and nephews, Stephen, Julianna, Bella and Olly.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel (420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church (1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, ON L4W1V2). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y5L5).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his honor, to the Mississauga Food Bank.
