Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Mooney and Sylvia Mooney (Turpin); his wife Brenda Mooney (Parker); his sons, Jonathan Andrew (Brianna) and Ian James (Gina); and his grandchildren, Jayson, Jayden and Ava.

His contributions to the legal profession were recognized in 2005 when he was awarded the Gold Key Award by Osgoode Hall Law School.
