She is survived by: her siblings, Sam and Emilia; her brother-in-law Manuel; and her nephews, Henry (Daniela), David (Lisa), Michael (Vicky), Paul (Nikeeta) and Jason (Lisa).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to The Canadian Down Syndrome Society.
