He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Salmon and Wayne Salmon; and his nephew Ryan Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Maritza Blasquez; his daughter Sara Blasquez; his sister Christine Salmon; his stepmother Susan Stevens; his sister-in-law Maria Antoineta Blasquez; his niece Eva Flores; his nephew Pablo Flores; and his mother-in-law Maria Antonieta Alvarez Guajardo.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
