He was predeceased by: his mother Maud Ruth McDonald Taylor. He is survived by: his father Edward Joseph Taylor; his brothers, Dr. Jamie Matthew Taylor (Ann Gawyuk) and John Edward Taylor (Bonnie Ross); his cousin Theresa Marilyn Santos (Jorge Carlos Santos); and also, Calvin (Rebecca Osborne), Caroline (Joey Pacheco) and Christopher. He is also survived by friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish, Mississauga will be distributing gift cards to needy families for Christmas.

“I worked with Cory at FanDemand. He was always helpful and kind. A quiet maritimer. He still spoke his opinion but in a quiet way. Even when laid-off, he spoke of his concerned for the health of someone else on the team. He was a lambo coder ... the angle of his chair was like driving a lamborghini; it would have killed my back. We shared maritimer roots. I went to Acadia but was supposed to go to TUNS. He went to TUNS. Last we talked was about his work on a logic/word puzzle app he was reviving. He will be missed.”
