He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Colonel Charles Millidge Ruttan and Frances Jane Ruttan; his children, Elizabeth (Chris Piper) and Charles (Laurie Ruttan); his spouse Geddis Gibb; his daughter Shelly (Doug Jamieson); his grandchildren, Heather, Michael Jamieson, Jennifer (Kyouhei Yoshino), Andrew and Matthew Ruttan; and his brother Chuck.
