He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Sousa (Alves); and his parents, Joaquina Sousa (Lopes) and Manuel Sousa. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Cavacas (Jorge); his grandchildren, Jason and Brittany; and his brothers, Jose Sousa and Manuel Sousa.
