Algirdas Vaiciunas Obituary

We bid farewell to Algirdas Vaiciunas (Mississauga, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2025 at the age of 99. Algirdas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Aldona; his sister Birutė; his children, Vaidotas (Žibutė), Ramona Valadka, Darius (Vita) and Andrius; his grandchildren, Austė Barnes (Chris), Aleksandra Swackhamer (Paul), Petras Vaiciunas (Karina), Vilija Seselja (Adam) and Laura; and his great grandchildren, Lukas, Tomas, Heidi, Penelope, Josephine, Kajus and Maksimas.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lithuanian Martyrs Church (2185 Stavebank Rd, Mississauga, ON L5C1T3). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery (2185 Stavebank Rd, Mississauga, ON L5C1T3).

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Lithuanian Foundation would be appreciated.
