He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Ruth McLean; and his siblings, Gord McLean, Glen McLean and Nancy McLean.

He is survived by: his significant other Fairbe; his children, John McLean (Janice), James McLean (Lisa), Pamela Latendresse (David) and Margaret Collette; his great grandchild Emersyn; and his siblings, Donna Acker (Ken) and Alan McLean. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
