He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Sully. He is survived by: his mother June Sully; his wife Laura Trach of Minden; his son Dan; his grandson Dalton; his daughter Laura (Rob); and his sister Debbie Kozak.

“It is with a Heavy Heart that I send Condolences to the Family of Bob Sully which is how I have always known him! I knew of his passion for working on small engines of all sorts but especially snowmobiles and boat motors!! He could fix anything like such and if he didn't have the part he could MacGiver something! I had the pleasure of knowing Bob thru mutual friends in Minden and Also thru his sister Deb and June in Oshawa! Rest in Peace Bob!”
