She was predeceased by: her parents, Roween McKelvey and Wallace Elwood McKelvey (Buster); her husband Ely Fairey (Everette); and her son Peter Fearrey (Rachel). She is survived by: her brother Danny McKelvey (Debbie); and her children, Andrea Hewitt (Kim), Terri-Lynn Ritchie (Rob) and Kevin Fairey (Carrie). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Archie Stouffer Elementary School Nutrition Program (cheque only), continuing Isabell's lifelong connection to children and her community.
