He was predeceased by: his spouse Mathilde; and his brother Klaus Kieckhoefer. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Trask (Hugh) and Sandra Skidmore (Steven); his grandson Christopher; and his sister Elisabeth Bartocha.
