“Please pass this on to Betty's family: I was saddened last night to try and call Betty which I do every Christmas to find her line had been disconnected. I searched the obituaries and was saddened to read of her passing. Hope she did not suffer long and is now in a better place. She was such a lovely independant lady and so good and was such a caring soul to my Uncle Harold. I was the closest to him and heard wonderful things about her. I arranged a surprise birthday party for his 95th”
