He was predeceased by: his sibling Jean (Carl); his brother-in-law Danny (Anita); his parents, Daniel Gilchrist and Ada Gilchrist (McCormick); and his sister-in-law Thelma.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Melonie (James), Megan (Shane) and Matthew (Justine); his grandchildren, Dezaree, Kynan, Kyle, Matthew, Jackson, Max, Leham and Tanner; his siblings, Arden (Shirley), Sadie, Reg (Linda), Max (Diane), Bob (Sharon) and Mark (Angel); and his siblings-in-law, Larry (Roberta), Jack (Julie) and Beryl (Shane).
Masks must be worn and social distancing must be respected.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Billings Fire Department Firefighters Association.
