We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2019, at the age of 93, Vernon Bast (Milverton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bast and Alfretta Bast (Miller); his wife Grace Margaret (Denstedt); his daughter Nancy Swanstrom (Bob) of Sarnia; his siblings, Clarence and Ruby; his brother-in-law James Jacobs; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd, Bill Denstedt, Earl, Sally Denstedt, June, Doug Eller and Joyce Denstedt.
He is survived by: his children, Dale (Lynn) of Stratford, Shirley Vallance (George), B. C. and Marlene Hundert (Ken) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Sarah (Josh), Jennifer (Pete), Charles (Michelle), Richard (Liz), Peter and Leah; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Ben, Luke, Evelyne and Oliver; and his sisters-in-law, Laurene Bast of Stratford, Carol Lynch (Gary) of Sarnia, Doreen and Marilyn Denstedt of London.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Knollcrest Lodge or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated by the family.
