He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" and Leila Reis (Kelterborn); and his wife Freda Reis (Kaye). He is survived by: his children, Darrell (Christine), Jamie (Cara), Jenny (Ian), Kevin (Lisa), Alisha (Kody), Krista (Ryan) and Pamela (Dave Paradis); his granddaughter Katie; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie, Barry and Curtis; his great grandchildren, Maeve, Jett, Savanna and Nicole; his nieces and nephews, David Shearer, Ross Denstedt, Evelyn and Shirley Reis; his brother Gerald "Jerry" Reis; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Shearer and Joan Kaye.
