Leonard Frederick Lee Obituary

Born May 4, 1942. Died August 27, 2023Len passed away at Milton District Hospital.

He is sadly missed by his wife Mary Ellen, son Jeff (Kiearra), grandchildren Karleigh (Dillon), Anabelle, Ashlyn, Lucas, Brayden, Olivia and great grandsons Henderson and Denver, his sister Sandra, brother Greg (Kim) and brother-in-law Bob McMillan (Pat). Predeceased by his parents Agnes and Fred Lee and by his son Michael.

Lovingly remembered by Renee Corriveau, his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Len graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Ivey School of Business. He worked for Whirlpool Canada for 30 years. Len was a community person being past president of Milton Curling Club and Milton Horticultural Society. He was a friend of Milton Rotary Club receiving the Paul Harris Award twice. He served a term as a director for Milton District Hospital Foundation and he was chairperson at Milton Good Neighbours Day for 25 years. He was Senior of the Year for Milton in 2014. Len was an avid gardener whose specialty was roses. He looked after the Milton Town Hall Rose Garden for many years. Len loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed travelling, curling and golf. The family wishes to thank Milton District Hospital staff for his recent care and Allendale Sykes House staff for the last two years.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at McKersie & Early Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be directed to Milton District Hospital Foundationor the Willow Foundation (Allendale).
