She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Edmison (Bob); and her father David (David). She is survived by: her children, David Edmison, Michelle Edmison, Janet Shuttleworth (Kevin), Carolyn Edmison and Nancy Edmison (John); her grandchildren, Katy, Natasha, Brendan, Danielle, Lindsay, Christine, Robbie and Leeanna; her great grandchildren, Jayde and Mila; and her sister Jeannine (Elaine).
In lieu of flowers, although truly appreciated, memorial donations in Elaine's name may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
