He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick O'Donohue and Bridie O'Donohue; and his siblings, Raymond, Stan, Tony and Marie Dywer.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Gilligan); his children, Raymond (Sandra) and Anne (Rodney); his grandchildren, Eamon, Liam, Bridget, James and Colin; his brothers, Brendan (Catherine) and PJ (Marie); and his friend England. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Des's honour to the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital.
