He was predeceased by: his wife Florence; and his son David Douglas. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna (Paul) and Debra (David); his grandchildren, Shawn (Natalia), Shannon (Jeff), Darren and Jason; his great grandchildren, Victoria, Vanessa, Katie and Julia; his sister Gail; his nephews, John and Ken; and his niece Janice.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
