She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hendrika Bakel (Van Der Zanden) and Franciscus Van Bakel; her spouse Theodorus Cornelius (Ted); and her children, John, Trudy, Frank, Rita and Maranda. She was also cherished by family tree grew to include 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home Ltd. (114 Main St E, Milton, ON L9T1N5). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Parish (139 Martin St, Milton, ON L9T2P3). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Milton Evergreen Cemetery (230 Ontario St S, Milton, ON L9T2M9). A reception was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Holy Rosary Parish Hall (139 Martin St, Milton, ON L9T2P3).
