He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Laura; his brother John (Jack); and his former wife Doris. He is survived by: his significant other Ravi Bala; his daughter Cathie Devries; his son-in-law Arnold; his grandchildren, Rob, Rhiane, Allison and Natasha; and his great grandchild Hailey.
A hospitalization in April of this year due to COVID19 led to a drastic decline in mobility.
