He was predeceased by: his brother Bradley; and his parents, Byron and Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his son Harlan; and his siblings, Barry of Acton and Brenda of Kenora.

In lieu of flowers or charitable donations, a fund has been set up through the funeral home to assist Harlan.
