She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrika Posthumus and Cornelius Posthumus; her brothers, Peter (Claire) and John; her siblings-in-law, Stewart Luke, Kathy Luke and Joyce Posthumus; and her nephew Bill Hannigan.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert; her children, Janice Smith (Rob) and Michael (Colette Slone); her grandchildren, Sierra, Brooke and Amber Smith; her siblings, Evert Posthumus (Marianne), Tienco Posthumus (Patty), Tina Gray (Doug) and Alice Ellerby (Jeff); her sisters-in-law, Bernice Hannigan (late Denny) and Janet Luke (Ken Uyesugi); and her nieces and nephews, Kim Sin (Tom), Krista Ritskes (Chris), Selina Posthumus, Rachael Deska (Marek), Emily Posthumus (Brianne), Elaine Hannigan, Denise Hannigan, Stephanie Cox (Todd), Shayne Gray (Bridget), Tony Posthumus (Theresa), Bryan Ellerby, Stephen Ellerby, Scott Luke (Jenn) and Daniel Luke (Jenna).
