He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Marshall and Harold Marshall; and his siblings, Frances Allen, Fred, Lewis and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, David of Calgary, Lisa Marshall of Burlington and Julie Marshall of Tobermory; and his grandchild Mikyla.
