She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Agnes Merner and Robert Merner; and her siblings, Beverly Ermel, Robin Walker, Robert Merner and Patrick Merner.
She is survived by: her husband James Schnarr; her daughter Tammy Paul (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ashley Lemarcotte (Anthony), Brittanie Paul (Matthew Lanteigne) and Randi Paul (Daiken Salsman); her great grandchildren, Gemma, Brinley, Ryleigh and Madison; her pet Simba; and her sibling Kim Greenaway of Lethbridge, Alberta.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation (Lion's Head Hospital) or a charity of your choice.
