She was predeceased by: her husband Norman F. McConachie; her son Derrick; her sisters, Evangeline Arsenault and Rita Henry (late Bud); and her parents, Hector Pitre and Georgina Pitre.

She is survived by: her sons, Keith (Julia), Mark (Jody) and Brian (Tonya); and her sister Martha Games. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
