He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Crystal (Ken) and Christopher (Brianna); his grandsons, Kayne, Emery and Hudson; his child Barb Dorey (Stuart); his siblings, Dora Jones (David) of Elmwood, Ottawa of Elmwood, Debbie Robson of Elmwood, Darrell (Janette) of Elmwood, Doyle (Sania) of Elmwood, Bridgewater, Darliea of Sipenkne and Godchild of Samantha Gloade; his parents, Catherine Dorey and Claude Dorey; and his siblings, Dale, Delmer and Dalton. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made in Dwight's memory to the ALS Society of NB & NS.
