He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bertram and Pearl Clapp; his wife Maureen Clapp; and his brother Allen Clapp. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer and Amanda; and his siblings, Art Clapp, Kevin Clapp and Roxanne Clapp.
