Wilfred Schefter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 84, Wilfred Schefter of Mildmay, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Sonya Koller; his stepsister Mary Helen Belecki; his siblings, Florence Reinhart, Louise Schefter, Arthur Schefter and Reuben Schefter; and his parents, George Schefter and Regina Schefter.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Rozalynn Schlosser, Karen Koller (Joe) and Paul Schefter (Rita); his grandchildren, Curtis (Kendal), Kyle (Jessica), Cameron (Rebecca), Brandon (Rachel), Patrick (Natasha), Evan (Kylee), Adam and Kathryn; his siblings, Laura Fischer (Alfred) and David Schefter (Helen); and his sister-in-law Marlene Wilson (Jim).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society of Canada or Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
