He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Schnurr; and his mother-in-law Joan Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Arnold; his children, Jordan Schnurr (Sarah Lindblad), Brett Schnurr (Ashley Ernst), Caleb Schnurr (Mycalie Derbyshire) and Connor Schnurr; his mother Lorraine Schnurr of Mildmay; his siblings, Bonnie Thompson (Dennis) of Cargill, Marlene Kupferschmidt (Brent) of Mildmay, Mark Schnurr (Tammy) of Walkerton and Kim Metcalfe (Creg) of Elmira; his close friend Toby; his siblings-in-law, Tammy Hickling (Cameron) and Michael Arnold of Olds; and his father-in-law Gerald Arnold of Mildmay. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, friends and former co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce – South Hospice or Schnurr Family Education Fund would be appreciated by the family.
