He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Christine; his parents, John "Jack" and Arsenia "Babe" Goetz; and his siblings, Eileen Finbow, Lloyd, Lorne (Joan) and Allan Goetz.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Goetz (Sandy) and James Goetz (Kelly); his grandchildren, Charles and James Goetz; his siblings, Helen (Howard) of Port Charlotte, Bob of Kitchener, Kaye Durrer (Claire) of Waterloo, Ray (Edna) of Kitchener and Bruce (Gerry) of Kitchener; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Goetz and Horace Finbow.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
