Kurt Benke Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kurt Benke in Midland, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Bogda; his son Andrew Benke (Lydia); his stepchildren, Peter Detembal (Wiola) and Monica Smith (Chad); and his grandchildren, Max, Amelia, Nicole, Bella, Aubree and Brody.

He is survived by: his brothers, Armin Benke (Gloria) and Otto Benke (Kim); and his nephews, Ron (Christina) and Rick (Karen). He is also survived by family members and many friends.

If desired in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Parkinson's Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
