She was predeceased by: her significant other Wim Brienesse; her son Mark Lalonde; her brothers, Robert Brown and Peter Brown; and her parents, Henry "Harry" Brown and Violet "Vi" Brown.

She is survived by: her former husband Bill Lalonde (Carole); her sons, Todd Lalonde (Marlie) and Matthew Lalonde; her stepchildren, Tammy Brienesse (Keith Secord), Tim Brienesse (Karen Kai) and Tobi Brienesse (Dave Chambers); and her grandchildren, Karlin Lalonde (Shawn Cote), Ryan Lalonde, Parker Lalonde, Danielle Lalonde and Ben Lalonde.
