It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Roland Stanley (Midland, Ontario), who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa Stanley; his daughters, Brenda Lyle, Janet Stanley and Karen Simms (Mark Simms); his grandchildren, Heather Lyle (Scott), Heidi Lyle (late Kevin), Kyle Simms (Melissa), Amy Simms (Joey) and Lissa Makela; his great grandchildren, Preston Lyle, Owen Axt-Simms, Ava Axt-Simms, Liam Oliveria-Lyle, Syrenity Makela, Luna Simms and Ezra Simms; his grandchildren, Keith Stinson and Mikey; and his pet Peanut.

At the family's request a private celebration of life will follow, due to Covid-19.
