The passing of Irma Melnyk (Midland, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Irma Melnyk to show support.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Ilarion "Lary" Melnyk; her children, Larissa, Frederic, Deanna and Tamara; her children-in-law, Kelly, Matt and Carrie; her grandchildren, Mark, Jessica, Eric, Braydon and Lily; her mother Maria; her brother George; her father Chester; and her daughters, Tammy and Imi (Lary).

If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society or to the Town of Midland for a bench dedication in loving memory of Imi in a Midland park overlooking Georgian Bay.

Pat Cowden wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to miss the celebration of life for Imi. I put it on my calendar for July 13. I went to the legion today and the name at the door for the celebration was not Melnyk. I immediately came home to see if I was mistaken only to find out it was yesterday (July 12). I really wanted to extend my sincere sympathy to Lary, Larissa, Fred, Dee and Tammy. A long time ago, we had a lot of fun on the water (boating) with Imi and Larry and wanted to talk to the family sharing memories. Pat Cowden”
