He was predeceased by: his wife Hildegard. He is survived by: his sons, Fred (Cynthia) and Andy (Tracey); and his grandchildren, Erika, Kristofer, Tyler, Raiden, Hailey and Jacob.

“Dear Andy, Fred and family of Hermann, we are very sad about the death of your father Hermann. I'm Daniela from Germany, my grandmum Ilse is a relative to your mother Hildegard. In 2008, I spent some months in Barrie and visited Hildegard and Hermann in Midland. After the death of Hildegard, my grandmum Ilse was still in touch with Hermann. In 2019, they phoned the last time. We wondered what was happening to him. We would be pleased if you could write me at [email protected] thanks a lot. D”
