It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmy Stoerdtje (Jaarsma) Knegt (Midland, Ontario), who passed away on February 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Knegt; and her siblings, Jella Jaarsma, Liz Jaarsma and Edith VandenBerg. She is survived by: her sons, John Knegt and Mathew Knegt; and her sister Margaret Bulten.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carson's Funeral Homes J. H. Lynn Chapel (290 First St, Midland, ON L4R 3N9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Emmy's memory may be made to Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House.
