He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Doug'; his children, Cheryl (Dino), Karen (John), Russell and Kyle (Vanlata); his grandchildren, Blake, Devin, Nikhil, Arlen, Eda and Keiran; his brother James; his parents, Kate and Richard; and his siblings, Ralph, Thomas and Colleen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Georgian Bay General Hospital.
