With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas La Rose (Midland, Ontario), who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Ric (Anne), Ken, Don (Kim), Cathy Hayes (Rob), Michael and Peter La Rose; and his sister Gwen Pearson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

“We met Doug and Shirley years ago through Askennoinia and our volunteer work with the Royal Canadian Legion. We were blessed to have known them both! We visited Doug at Tiffin House before Covid put an end to those visits and when we could find him at home, as he was often out gallivanting Both he and Shirley will be fondly remembered!”
