He was predeceased by: his wife Helen (Smith); his son Albert (Lynda) of Mission, BC.; his great grandchild Jadia; and his brother Marshall (Isobel). He is survived by: his daughter Joan Shantz (Robert) of Midland; his grandchildren, Sandra (Rick), Jim (Laura) of Waterloo County, Sherry (Mark), Donald (Denise) and Nicole of Mission, BC.; his great grandchildren, Melissa, Brian, Kiria, Kogan, MacKeely, Taydon, Jeremy, Kayley, Tyler, Sasha and Samatha; and his brother Franklin (Muriel). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In his honour donations would be appreciated to Midland Salvation Army or the Georgian bay general Hospital.
