She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Howard; her parents, Mary Ellen (Thompson) and Jack Russell; and her sister Jean Wallace (Bruce). She is survived by: her sons, Russ (Wendy) and Glenn (Judy).

Instead, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her honor to the Georgian Bay General Hospital in gratitude of the wonderful care she received over the years, or Golf Canada Foundation to introduce youth to the game of golf she loved so much.
