With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherryn Virginia Johnston (Merrickville, Ontario), who passed away on February 21, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Empey (Chuck) and Noreen Empey; her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Theresa Johnston; and her brothers-in-law, Jeff Johnston (Mary), Bill Johnston (Judy), Harold Scobie and Brian Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Johnston; her children, Shaun Johnston (Heidi), Emily Mooij (Arjan) and Ashley McGregor (Paul); her grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Reid, Lindsay, Thijs, Brandon, Tinsley, Evan, Nathan, Taelah and Aubrey; her siblings, Lynette Scobie, Greg Empey (Debbie), Kim Furuness (Ryan) and Lisa Gagne (Michel); her siblings-in-law, Sandy Johnston Dixon and Jack Johnston; and her friends, Francine Weagle and Lance Fox.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Humane Society or Volunteer Services at the Smiths Falls Hospital and the Kingston General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
