She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Tasker and Queenie Tasker; her husband William "Harry" Allen; her son Bill; her grandchildren, David, Agatha Allen (Fehr), Jack, Kristen Coyne (Allen), Corey, Kimberly Knight (Allen), Steven and Alicia Ellwood (Allen); and her great grandchildren, William, Alexander, David, Elizabeth, Carter, Hudson and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, David and Carol Allen (Gilbeault); her sister Ruth Wills (Ernie); her nephew Charles; and her nieces, Barbara and Judith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
