She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; and her sisters, Doris, Orpha and June. She is survived by: her children, Ron Carruthers (Anne) of Melbourne, Sylvia Carruthers (John Robertson) of Foothills County and Mark Carruthers (Chris) of Melbourne. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
