He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Johnston and Jean Johnston; and his sister Sue Moore. He is survived by: his wife Lynda (Clubine); his sons, Rick Johnston (Jenn) of Meaford, Jeff Johnston (Jody-Lynn) of Meaford and Greg Johnston (Tania) of Owen Sound; his grandchildren, Heather, Tristyn, Erik, Chelsea-Lynn, Trenton, Abby and Lily; and his sister Mavis Coutts of Winnipeg.
