She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Barnes; her parents, John Charbonneau and Eva Charbonneau; her brother George Charbonneau; her nephew Douglas Charbonneau; and also, Bob Barnes and Ernest Barnes.

She is survived by: her daughter Ryly Barnes-Lang (Karl); her granddaughter Andrea Lang (Chris); her great grandchildren, Jesse Lang, Dustin Lang, Jenna Lang and Jayda Lang; her nieces, Susan Wall, Anne Dennis, Beth Ryan and Brenda Ryan; her nephew Ken Charbonneau; and also, Greg Lang and Kim Lang.

If friends so desire donations may be made to the Bethammi Nursing Home (St. Joseph's Care Group) or the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.
