She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Peter Hayes; her children, Mark Marsh, Rhonda Magee (David), Ryan Hayes (Aleasha) and Justin Hayes (Holly); and her grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Robert, Graham, Dylan, Haylee and Jake.

In her honour, in lieu of flowers she requested donations be made to Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.
